Burma teak wood is an old-growth tree that is native to forests of Burma and Myanmar. Their growth time is more than 50 years. It is the best quality teak wood that is available today. It has a golden color, elegantly distributed grains, and a high amount of teak natural oils. It is the most durable type of teak wood among all.

The heartwood is commonly a golden or a medium brown color that only becomes darker as the wood ages. It will have either an impeccably straight grain, or grain that is wavy. It is coarsely texture with a natural luster.

Burmese teakwood is commonly used for applications that require resilience against weather damage, like ship building, for outdoor furniture, as well as for veneer and other small woodworking objects as well.
