Howrah Lock industries is situated in a remote village of Bargachia of Howrah district and 35 kms from Kolkata and its nearest station Bargachia of S.E .Rly. This factory was started in the year 1974 with only some hand tools and later modernized with machineries without any financial assistance from any bank. Later with modern development we have installed some automatic machinery replacing manual machineries. And with vast experience of Founder, Partner Shri Biswnath Kar, the company has been able to develop import substitute lock and innovative lock. The company is exporting to Bangladesh and Bhutan etc. And its products has also domestic demand. Different large scale organizations like jail, Hospital, and Banks are valued customers. Daily newspaper s like Anandabazar Patrika, Bartaman, Hindustan Times ,Economics Times have appreciated our innovated R&D effort and product. We have patented our innovative CID Lock, Defence Pad Lock , Handcuff Lock this are registered with different concerned Govt. departments. Front for National progress , New Delhi has honored us for outstanding achievements and contribution in chosen field of activity on 8th October , 2001 at Kolkata. Federation of small & Medium industries (FOSMI) has also awarded us for outstanding performance on 30th April , 2005.
