The Adept Cobra s800 Inverted robot is a high performance SCARA (4-axis) robot system designed for packaging and material handling applications. The inverted SCARA design makes it ideal for mounting above a conveyor belt and minimizing the machine footprint. With an 800 mm reach and 5.5 kg payload, this robot is well suited for a much wider range of applications than specialized picking robots.
This model is also available in Cleanroom option with a new a Fed 209e Class 10a factory-installed cleanroom kit with fully sealed access covers, installed bellows kit, and vacuum system to evacuate volume within the robot. The Adept Cobra s800 Inverted CR SCARA robot has also passed the 3rd party cleanliness testing under particle performance evaluation and airborne particle test.
