If set up correctly as per the instructions this will provide accurate speeds of offences that take place.

Explanation of the workings of the system
The system comprises 4 main parts
1. The camera for taking the image of the event
2. The radar speed sensor with an accuracy of better than A 1km/h to check speeds
3. The video recorder that only is activated during offending
4. The setup and playback screen

The radar sensor detects allmoving objects such as vehicles and produces true speed readings if the radar detects a vehicle that is travelling in excess of the pre-set limit (set by the user) the radar sends a message to the recorder to start recording the event in a standard format video file.
Vehicles traveling under the limit go undetected and are not recorded for privacy reasons.
The video footage of the vehicle exceeding the limit contains the speed, time-date withGPS location, all this information is recorded on the video as a short 15 second video clip stored on the SD card fitted to the recorder. Each event has its own file number for reference purposes.
The video continues for 10 seconds after the event to ensure that no other vehicle moving in the area hasmay have triggered the camera, as radar has a large detection area.
