5000w Solar Panel Power Grid-tied Generator

This 5000W Solar Panel Power Grid-tied Generator system provides power for 3 to 8 people in a home or office, in locations where there is mains electricity available that has the option to feedback power to the grid.

Solar power is generated from the solar panels during sunny periods, transferring the energy to the appliances in use and to the mains electricity utility company. The inverter converts the DC solar voltage to 230VAC at 50Hz with an output that is exactly like the mains electricity (pure sine wave). As long as the total appliance power in use at any time is no more than 5000W, the system will provide power during sunshine hours. When there is no sunshine or when the load usage exceeds the generated solar power, the utility provides the power. The 5000W panels need around 5 hours of sunshine a day to exceed the average electricity needs for up to 47000WH/day (Watt-hours per day) or 47KWH/day (or units per day).

More or less hours of sunshine will generate proportionally more or less WH/day, and more or less usage of appliances will consume more or less WH/day. In any billing period, if the generated power exceeds the used power, the difference is refunded back to the user. Conversely if the generated power is less than the used power, the user pays for the difference.
