3-d Mri-us Fusion Artemis System

The platform is composed of Artemis/Pro Fuse and Pro Fuse BX which is a combination of high quality prostate navigation system with software to mark the suspicious regions on MRI and fuse such marked MR images with ultrasound images in real time. The navigation system, Artemis, is a 3-D semi-robotic navigation system with MRI/TRUS Fusion Technology capability. Our system is FDA approved in addition to having certifications from TUV Rhineland, Germany and ISO 13485 standards plus compelling clinical DATA to validate the accuracy of our system.

The Artemis semi-robotic navigation system works with any end fire ultrasound probe that aids urologist to navigate to the exact location of suspicious regions on prostate gland to take biopsy. The MRI images are fused with live ultrasound image in real time with the help of ProFuse BX to create such target for Artemis. Research data support the fact that mp MRI (multi parametric MRI) is the best imaging modality to detect suspicious regions on prostate. ProFuse platform allows the Radiologist to mark these regions on MRI as detected and send such images to Artemis for biopsy procedure.
The biopsy procedure is performed in an office setting under local anesthetics. This advanced technology allows for early detection of prostate cancer and eliminate unnecessary repeat biopsies and perfect tool for treatment planning.
