Aloe Vera Juice

Ayurveda practitioners have claimed that Aloe Vera is very effective in treating various ailments, such as burns, allergic reactions, rheumatoid arthritis, rheumatic fever, acid indigestion, ulcers, diabetes, skin diseases, dysentery, diarrhea, piles and inflammatory conditions of the digestive system.

Aloe Vera juice is made from the leaf. The green outer layer of the leaf and the yellow latex which contains aloin and is a natural laxative are removed. The gel is then rinsed to remove residual latex and then blended to give you Aloe Vera juice. 

Aloe Vera leaves have three main layers: the green outer skin, the yellow latex, and the clear gel.

First, Aloe Vera juice is a rich source of antioxidants, so it helps to lower oxidative stress on the body. Secondly, the juice is also an excellent source of vitamin C. Thirdly, drinking Aloe Vera juice also reduces the risk of chronic conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, or even cancer. 

Alternative medicine practitioners recommend having not more than 100 ml of Aloe Vera juice which can be take once, twice of three times a day to enjoy the health benefits of the juice and also to minimize any potential side effects. 

Aloe Vera juice should ideally be consumed on an empty stomach or at least half an hour before a meal. This ensures maximum utility of the juice and can also trigger good weight loss. 

Though Aloe Vera juice has potent antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral properties, it is recommended that you consult a doctor before taking the decision. Using Aloe Vera juice as an antibiotic will also depend on the severity of the disease because antibiotics are known to work faster.

 It has been proven in many cases that the active components present in Aloe Vera help in lowering high blood pressure. It has also been observed that drinking the juice on a regular basis lowers blood glucose levels in diabetic patients.
