Head Pipe For Parallel Flow Condenser

Seam welded head pipe is the important part used in parallel flow condenser and parallel flow evaporator.
The head pipe is high frequency welded then rolled to achieve accurate dimension and better structure on welding zone. The cladding ratio is normally 10A 2% with brazing alloy of AA4045 or AA4343.
Typical OD specs are 20mm, 22mm,26mm, 30mm and 32mm etc. Other profile than cycle are also possible to customize if necessary. Pipe can be delivered in 5000mm or cut to length as required.

Tubes are offered predominantly in clad aluminium, which offers the ability to combine a low melting point brazing alloy with a high strength core, and if required, corrosion resistance inner cladding. New higher strength corrosion resistant long life alloys are in regular production, offering cost and weight reduction opportunities. Core material clad with brazing alloys on both inner and outer surfaces are available for charge air cooler and oil cooler applications, allowing internal turbulators to be brazed to the tube wall, creating an uninterrupted heat flow medium from coolant to air after the brazing process.

Longitudinally seam-welded tubes are the convincing solution not only because of their outstanding forming properties but also their high cost-effectiveness. Thin-walled, large diameter tubes can be manufactured easily. Precision and quality are also assured at low processing costs.
