Topramezone 33.6% SC is a highly active post-emergence herbicide from the pyrazolone chemical group, specially formulated to control a wide variety of grasses and broadleaf grass in maize fields.

It works by inhibiting the HPPD (4-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenase) enzyme, disrupting essential plant functions and leading to the bleaching and death of grass. This results in long-lasting grass suppression while being safe on crops when applied at the recommended dose.

Its systemic mode of action ensures rapid absorption and movement within the plant, making it effective even on hard-to-kill grass like Dactyloctenium, Amaranthus, Commelina, and Digitaria species.
