Precis of Protectowire Linear Heat Detector

Identified on the parameters of maximum voltage rating, diameter, resistance, and minimum bend radius; the Protectowire Sensor Cable is manufactured by us using avant-garde material. This is basically a Protectowire Temperature Detector which has the flexibility of detecting the heat anywhere on its length. This cable has two steel conductors that are separately insulated with a heat sensitive polymer. It can be used with Protectowire Alarm Point Location Meter which helps in identifying and displaying the alarm location at the control panel, on the length of cable. This Protectowire Temperature Detector finds usage in refrigerated storage, tank farms, warehouses/rack storage, pipelines and many other application areas.



One of the key feature of Protectowire Sensor Cable is that its sensitivity is not effected with the length of cable or change in the surrounding temperature. In line with this, there is no requirement of compensating adjustments. Also, this Protectowire Temperature Detector has good resistance against mechanical damage due to the presence of select outer jackets and steel inner conductors. Though we recommend using this cable with Protectowire Alarm Point Location Meter, we have designed the temperature sensing cable in such a manner that it is compatible with all types of alarm initiating devices viz smoke detectors and others.
