This MP Diagnostics HTLV I/II ELISA 4.0 is a direct sandwich immunoassay that utilizes a combination of recombinant protein & a tri-fusion recombinant protein labeled with HRP.This test format assures simultaneous detection of specific IgA,IgG & IgM antibodies against HTLV-I & HTLV-II. The kit uses 4 recombinant HTLV antigens, rgp46-I (specific to HTLV a I), rgp46-II(specific to HTLV-II), GD21(reactive to both HTLV-I & II) & MGK (a tri-fusion antigens recloned from the above 3). It also has SAM(sample addition monitoring feature) which ensures color change when sample is added to the well. The kit has got 100% sensitivity & 99.79 % specificity thus ensuring high reliability of results.The kit comes in 192 T and 480 T format.
