Application / Type : Sprayable Liquid / EC; useful in organic farming.
Feature: a Mealybug Special.a only proven solution to control Mealy bugs
Mode of action : The spray ruptures the waxy coating and hence the formulation penetrates in to the pest body leading to highly effective control of the pest.
Targeted Pest : Mealybug
Recommendation :
a c 600-750 mL / acre (1:250 dilution ration in water), repeat after 7 days.
a c Soil application of 8-10 kg Nemate (Nematicide) per hectare to control eggs laid in the soil is also strongly advocated as a long term control measure.
a c The formulation should not be mixed with other chemical pesticides or growth promoter formulations.
a c Washed off by rain; if rainfall once after spray.

Main crops : Cotton, okra, hibiscus, and all other field and horticultural crops.
