Applicant shall be categorized depending on their total FOB (FOR for deemed exports) export performance during current plus previous three years (taken together). For Export House (EH) Status, export is necessary in at least two out of four years (i.e., current plus previous three years). There are few benefits listed in Para 3.10.4 of FTP, mainly:

• Fixation of SION within 60 days.
• Exemption from furnishing bank guarantee for imports under FTP schemes.
• Status holders of specified sectors were entitled for 1% SHIS script, on exports made up to 31.03.2013.
• Status holders of Agri. sector are eligible for special Agri. Infra Scrip apart from VKGUY.
