There are two traditional methods for the first step of decorative glass processes, the first is to draw the graphics on the protective film by hand, it can create unique art glass, but can't fulfill the lot size output which can't satisfy the largest demand of decorative glass from the market.
The second method is using the computer aided carver or plotter to scribe graphics on the sand blasting film or protective film firstly, and then stick the sand blasting film on the target glass for further processes. During transferring the protective film, there are always some problems of paper shifting and film wastes, especially processing complex graphics. And the plotter is connected with computer, when there is sudden power failure and computer problem during the work, the whole piece of protective film will be useless.
