The Fiber-Coupled Balanced Detector Module D-100 S/I of detectors use two balanced photodiodes and an ultra-low noise, high-speed transimpedance amplifier. The design allows an improved matching of the balanced photodetectors to achieve an excellent common mode rejection, leading to better noise reduction.
The detectors have two optical inputs with removable and interchangeable connectors a either FC/PC or FC/APC a for easy adaptation to either fiber-coupled or free-space applications.
