| Features | 3M Scotch-Weld Epoxy Adhesive DP460 is a premium two-part, toughened structural epoxy adhesive designed to deliver exceptional bonding performance in demanding industrial applications. It offers excellent adhesion to a wide range of materials, including metals, composites, ceramics, wood, glass, and many engineering plastics. The adhesive provides high tensile, shear, and peel strength, ensuring durable and long-lasting structural bonds. DP460 features a 2:1 mix ratio and a 60-minute work life, allowing sufficient time for accurate positioning and assembly of components before curing. Once fully cured, it forms a tough, rigid bond with outstanding resistance to impact, vibration, fatigue, and mechanical stress. It also performs well in harsh environments by offering excellent resistance to moisture, chemicals, oils, and temperature fluctuations. The adhesive is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications, making it ideal for the aerospace, automotive, marine, transportation, electronics, construction, and general manufacturing industries. Its controlled flow characteristics help maintain an even bond line while minimizing sag during application. DP460 is available in convenient Duo-Pak cartridges for easy dispensing with compatible applicator guns. |
