Agitated Thin Film Evaporator
Typically used for fluids which are difficult to handle due to higher sensitivity and viscosity. The liquid is distributed in the form of a thin film on the heated wall where the heat transfer takes place. The rotor encapsulated inside the heating shell wipes the fluid film from the walls. Hence this type of evaporator is also called as Wiped Film Evaporator. The vapours generated after heating flow concurrently and are cleaned using an entrainment separator.
