Method of Cooking

The Lajawab Shahi Basmati Rice available with us is very fluffy and never sticks to pan or cooker. It is widely used to cook various dishes and compliment the taste bud of the client. For our food lover customers, we present a tried and easy method of boiling and cooking rice.

Most Common Method:

Add water, which is two times to the rice volume
And, let it boil

Some of the other procedure of cooking rice is listed below:

OPEN PAN METHOD

1. Bring a large pan, add the required water to boil the rice
2. Add the required amount of rice to the boiling water
3. Stir it well
4. Return the flame to medium and leave the rice and water boil together
5. For at-least 10 minutes cook it uncovered
6. Drain and rinse the water

COVERED PAN/ CLOSED POT METHOD

7. Using heavy based pan or vessel, put 1 cup of water and 200 grams of rice into it
8. Add oil, butter and salt for more taste
9. Cover the vessel, let it rice and water boil and down the heat
10. Simmer it for 10 minutes by the time water gets absorbed and grain get separated
11. Drain well
12. Serve hot

MICROWAVE METHOD

13. This method of cooking rice is done on 650 watt microwave
14. Add 1 cup of rice, using microwave bowl
15. If needed, add 2 cups of water and salt, butter or oil
16. Then cover the bowl using cling film or plastic
17. Let it cook on high for 6 minutes and then stir
18. Cover the microwave bowl and cook on defrost for another 6 minutes
19. Serve it with dal or other dishes

COMBINED METHOD

20. By following Covered Pan Method & Open Pan Method, boil the rice for 7 minutes
21. With cold water, rinse the boiled rice
22. Transfer the rice to a microwaveable bowl
23. Put is aside
24. To reheat, cover the microwave bowl and cook it for 3 to 4 minutes in a microwave
