Wheelabrator unit:

Type: Radialock RML wheel. 19 diameter x 2
Impeller: Patented High- capacity conical inlet type, cast of long life premium alloy.

Control Cage: Cast long life alloy has clockdial type control which allows perfect and positive adjustment of blast pattern.
Blades: these blades are known for its patented curved design. This cast of long life alloy is placed securely in between two hardened 15 dia. steel side plates by radial lock attention.


Noise Reduction: Pneumatically operated Sound Abator TE abrasive control valve and Sound isolation mountings.
Wheel housing: This steel housing is completely protected by long life liners.

Cabinet Construction:
Cabinet : The cabinet is made-up of steel plates with structural reinforcing.
Cabinet Liners: A 1 thick steel liner in line with blast and a trash box on down blast side of wheel, which protects the cabinet from wearing.
Cabinet Floor: The cabinet floor is made up of perforated plate, which protects abrasive screw conveyor from tramp metal. Due to this, the cabinet interior can be easily accessed for inspection and maintenance.
Door: The rubber type seals help seal the doors against abrasive leakage. Moreover, it is protected from rebounding abrasive with 1/4 thick rubber. It is further supported from a spindle mounted in anti-friction bearings. The door has tight-fit and can be easily opened because of the three point cam locking device actuated by the door handle.

Abrasive Recycling System
Elevator: Centrifugal discharge type belt and bucket elevator, enclosed in steel housing. On both the head and boot shafts, there is never lube bearing, sealed for life. An electric motor is used to drive it, given a provision for adjustment of belt tension.
Abrasive Separator : CFS(Compensating Flow) gravity type with 18 separating lip. All usable abrasive particles are retained and all sand, fines and other contaminants are discharged; when CFS is properly adjusted.
Abrasive Trap : The small abrasives are prevented from being carried into dust collector.
Abrasive Required: 750 KG initial charge.

Safety Features:
Guards: The totally enclosed guards protect all the drives.
Cabinet Doors: The wheelabrator unit operates through the limit switch on the door, only when the door is closed and locked. There is an air cylinder pin lock, which prevents opening of the door when wheelabrator is running.
Wheelabrator Unit: Abrasive braking stops wheelabrator by brake, before door can be opened
