Application
Faktis F 25 reduces the cold flow of raw ebonite compounds and improves calen-dering. Besides ebonite powder, Faktis F 25 can be a useful compounding ingre-dient with the aim of reducing the heat rise due to the exothermic nature of hard rubber vulcanization. As an advantage of the combined usage of ebonite powder and Faktis F 25, the resulting hard rubber is less sensitive to failure by impact and has a lower density. Up to Faktis F 25 loadings of 25 phr, the polishing properties of the hard rubber surface are not adversely affected.
