Besides ebonite powder Faktis F 25 can be a useful compounding ingre-dient with the aim of reducing the heat rise due to the exothermic nature of hard rubber vulcanization. As an advantage of the combined usage of ebonite powder and Faktis F 25 the resulting hard rubber is less sensitive to failure by impact and has a lower density.
