PRODUCT DETAIL

White, polymer emulsion for use with cement, grout and tile adhesives, Suitable for use in interior and exterior location in both dry and wet service conditions. X-pecial ADMIX is a polymer additive for grout, adhesives and cement.

MIXING RATIO

• Add 1 litre X-pecial Admix to 20 kg cement based adhesives and add water to get the required consistency
• Add 100 ml X-pecial Admix to 1 kg cement based grout and add water to get the required consistency.
  
• Add 1 litre X-pecial Admix to 50 kg cement and add water to get the required consistency.

PERFORMANCE

• The addition of X-pecial Admix to cement based grouts, adhesives and cement improves their physical properties and characteristics.
• Increased mechanical strength
• Providing greater adhesion to tile edges e.g. glass mosaics and fully vitrified tiles.
• Providing greater abrasion resistance . Particularly important in heavily trafficked areas such as shopping malls.
• Increased tensile and shear adhesion strength.
• Essential for fixing fully vitrified tiles and glass mosaics.
• Essential for fixing ceramic and natural stones, tiles, slabs and mosaics to dense impervious backgrounds / bases including glazed ceramic tiles, power floated concrete and tile backer boards.

At least 12 months when stored in normal dry conditions.
