1.High weir type ore spiral classifier: the top side of spiral blade is higher than ore pulp flooding level and the center of the blade is lower than the flooding level. This type is used for classification of ore with flooding size between 0.83-0.15.
2.Immersed weir type ore spiral classifier: the whole spiral blade is immersed in the ore pulp flooding level of the flooding end. The type is used for classification of ore with flooding size between 0.15-0.07mm.
The spiral classifiers are widely used in the distribution of ore in closed circuits with ball mills, grading ore and fine sand in gravity mills, grading granularity and flow of metal ore-dressing, desliming as well as dehydrating in washing.

Structure & working principle:
Depends on different particle size/gravity of ore pulp with different speed of sedimentation in the fluid, the classifier can filter materials by discharging find grain from pipe, while coarse materials were discharged out from bottom of tub by pulling of the spiral blades.
