Profenofos 50% E.C. is broad spectrum insecticide hacing contact and stomach action against Lepidopetra pesta such as sucking pest and bollworm complex in cotton etc.. it contains 500gms profenofos (0-(4-bromo-2-chloro-phenyl)-0-ethyl S-n-propyl-phosphorothioate) per litre of emulsifiable (EC) formulation.

Application and Recommendiation for use

Profenofos 50% E.C. is recommended for the control of following insects in cotton.

• The packages containing the insecticides should be stored in original containers in separate rooms or promises away from the rooms or primises used for storing other articles particularly articles of food or shall be kept in separate almirahs under lock and key.
• The rooms or primises meant for storing the insecticide shall be well built, dry: well lit and ventilated and of sufficient dimention to avoid contamination with vapour.
  

Precautions

Do not use cooking utensils for preparing sprays. Use stick for strring the spray solution. Wear had gloves to avoid contact with the skin. Also avoid inhalation and conmtact with eyes. Wear protective clothing mask, goggles, boots, while apraying and do not store unused spray solution. Do not spray when bees are active. When used at recommended dosages, no adverse effect on woldlife is expected, in case of any sign poisoning, immedeately consult the doctor.
