Product Description:

SIGMA MRA is a high quality solvent free mould releasing agent. It forms a film which enables easy stripping of form work from concrete. The unique formulation of MRA provides fair faced stain free concrete together with easy stripping of moulds.

Typical Applications :

• All types of form works used for concreting.
• Moulds in precast industry.
• Moulds in precast industry where steam curing is done.
• Moulds in casting concrete in hot weather conditions.

Features / Advantages:

• Easy to apply, resistant to heat upto 100C hence especially suitable in hot weather concreting areas on moulds.
• Plasters, screed can be applied later on the surface as MRA does not give bonding problem to the concrete.
• Provides high quality concrete surface with sharp corners.
• Can be used in all kinds of moulds.
• Protects wooden form work from absorbing water and swelling.
• Protects steel form work against corrosion.
• Extends form work life - easier cleaning between uses.

Method for application :

It should be applied on moulds after cleaning them. It can be applied by brush, sponge, conventional mould oil spray or by cotton waste. It should be applied only in concentrated form and should not be diluted further with solvent or water. The coverage is approximately 30-50m2 per litre. Excessive application should be avoided.

Cleaning of tools and equipments :

Tools and equipment should be cleaned with solvent e.g. Turpentine, Xylene, and Toluene etc.

Precautions : When it falls on the skin, it should be washed well with soap & water.

Storage & Shelf life :

Store the material at cool and dry place (25C temp. & 50% RH). Shelf life is 2 year from the date of manufacture.
