The operation may be carried out either using a tripod stand or without it. The equipment is supplied in a canvas carrying bag.

Specifications : The outfit comprises: Sample Extractor, Screw type with a wire sample Timmer. Split Mould, 38 mm dia x 76 mm long. Split mould, 38 mm inch dia x 88 mm inch long (in two parts) can be fitted to the screw type extractor enabiling salt specimens to be prepared ready for unconfined compression test. They are fitted with quick release system. Sampling tube 38 mm dia x 150 mm long. Sampling Tube 38 mm dia x 200 mm long. Jarring link for driving the Sampling Tube. Adaptor with locking screw for fitting the sampling tube to jarring link.
