POLYURETHANE FUNCTIONAL PRIMER, PUR-S 2230 / LQI (TOLUENE FREE/ POLYETHER PU)
Description PUR-S2230 / LQI is a film forming,
non-reactive thermoplastic Polyurethane with a polyether based aliphatic urethane chemistry.
The dry film of the PRIMER is very soft, flexible high elongation.
The film has good elastomeric properties and has moderate tensile properties.
The PRIMER is designed for PVC EDGE BANDING,
which acts like a bonding agent between the adhesive and the substrate.
This PRIMER has very high tolerance to aliphatic alcohol solvents and esters.
It exhibits well Adhesion to a variety of plastic films used in flexible packaging industry INCLUDING PVC. This Primer has low blocking resistance and heat resistance and has tack.
This primer has very good solvent release properties and resolubility.
It can be Cross linked with poly isocyanate cross linkers for 2-K coatings.
