A pot-type (basket) strainer used in piping systems to remove:
Dirt, rust, scale, and debris
Installed typically in return headers or pump suction lines in HVAC systems
Protects pumps, heat exchangers, valves, and other equipment

Cover: Bolted / quick-open top cover for maintenance
