We offers the latest polymeric compound, which is made up of selected synthetic copolymers to meet various applications required to provide a complete repair cum waterproof barrier coating to RCC and steel structures. KR Polybond is mainly includes of polymer components based on modified acrylic copolymer. When mixed with cement with various consistencies, the Polymer: Cement mixture makes it suitable to provide the bonding as well as barrier coating and waterproofing. KR Polybond Protective waterproof slurry coating and giving very good bonding property to the RCC and concrete structures with excellent waterproofing effect for marine environments as well.

Usage
Surface preparation of the substrate is vital for the effective adhesion and bonding of KR Polybond So, the surface should be free of laitance and loose dust particles, oil, grease and other loose dirt. The surface should be wire brushed and broomed before application. The performance of KR Polybond whether patches, renders, screeds, toppings or slurry only, is dependent on the substrate preparation. Depending upon the structural condition, preparation should be done. The basic idea is that the substrate should be clean, sound and free from any deleterious material. The unevenness of the surface should be leveled. The corroded reinforcement should also be made clean and all loose particles should be removed.

For better effect, prepare the slurry coat of cement- KR Polybond mixing them at a ratio 2:1. The slurry has to be applied on the repaired surface with a soft 4-inch plastic thistle brush in one direction. Allow this first coat to air dry for about 15-20 minutes then one can put the concrete for bonding purpose. Effectiveness of KR Polybond In case of improper waterproofing at a particular spot, a touch up coat of the KR Polybond and Cement mixture should be applied over the particular area and must be allowed to cure.
