Salient Features of Inverted Polarizing Microscope :-
* Observation tube has analyzer and Betrand lens. A quadruple nose-piece with positive click stop for par-centering of objectives is fitted to the tube.
* A removable type A wave length plate is provided in the slot above the nose-piece.
* Rotatable circular stage dia 130mm graduated to 360A has vernier reading 0.1A . The stage has centering system by two knurled head screws.
* Coarse and fine focusing by separate knobs. Preset stopper to protect the slides.
* Abbe condenser N.A.1.25 with iris-diaphragm is movable up & down by rack and pinion motion.
* Rotatable and graduated swing out type polariser is provided below the condenser.
* Illumination by 50mm dia plano-concave mirror interchangeable with sub-stage electric illuminator.
* Achromatic objective P4x, P10x, P40x(s) & eye-pieces WF10x, H5x with cross line and H10x with micrometer scale.
