Coolant & lubricants, if used at lower temperatures, have remarkable effect on the tool life & dimensional accuracies of the component. Coolant & oil chilling units cover applications such as precise grinding, gun drilling, thread grinding etc. In precise grinding operations coolant temperature has to be maintained at 18 c to 20 c by refrigeration. In gun drilling, oil temperature is important for cutting tool life. Oil chilling unit maintains the temperature of oil between 30 c to 40'c resulting in increased cutting edge life. Chilling unit also finds its application in controlling temperature of oil in Power Packs & water in die cooling for injection moulding.
