APPLICATIONS
- MOISTURIZING AGENTS is a very good anionic wetting agent, stable to high concentrations of sodium hydroxide solutions, used in mercerizing cotton fabrics.
- MOISTURIZING AGENTS is of non-cresylic type. is not corrosive and hence easy to handle. Mercerizing solutions containing MOISTURIZING AGENTS can be used in padchain or pad less-chain less mercerizing machines. Grey cotton fabrics may also be mercerized in the presence of MOISTURIZING AGENTS.
- 0.5 -1 gpl of MOISTURIZING AGENTS 1 00 may be C'dded to sodium hydroxide solutions (54Tw) used to mercerize cotton yarn or fabric. It may be varied depending on the quality of the fabric.
- MOISTURIZING AGENTS 100 promotes rapid absorption and penetration of concentrated sodium hydroxide solutions even into heavily sized grey fabrics.
