Medium Voltage Instrument Transformers

Current Transformers (CTs) are manufactured for the range 11 kV (HSV: 12 kV) through 66 kV (HSV: 72.5 kV) voltage class. The CTs are of wound and outdoor type with either dead tank or live tank (head type) design.

Medium Voltage Potential Transformers (MV-PTs) are manufactured ranging from voltage class 11 kV (HSV: 12 kV) through 66 kV (HSV: 72.5 kV) . MV-PTs are of inductive and outdoor type with dead tank design optimized for the lowest oil volume.

The insulation is finely graded and consists of oil-paper combination. The oil impregnation is done under a high degree of vacuum with excellent monitoring and control of dissipation loss factor (tan delta). All CTs are hermetically sealed, with either stainless steel bellows or nitrogen cushion. Conformance can be made in accordance to IS, IEC, BS and ANSI standard.
