Induced Regulating Transformer is used to control the voltage of electric networks and regulate the current flow. It is mainly used in electrical laboratories, electrochemical processes, and arc welding. The variation in the voltage can be achieved by adding vectorially the network voltage to the secondary shifted voltage of the regulator. To reduce the leakage inductance of the secondary windings, a stabilizing winding is located on the rotor. Its power can vary from 30kVA to 3 MVA.
