To fit the needs of our patrons, we are engaged in manufacturing and supplying of HVDC Converter Transformers in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. The HVDC converter stations transform the voltage from AC to DC and vice versa. The HVDC transformers operate with the applied DC electric stress in addition to the AC stress. In conventional AC transformers the high stresses are concentrated mainly in the oil, whereas in DC transformers the high stresses occur in the solid insulation system. These transformers are also subjected to high levels of harmonics in the load current. HVDC transformers are either built as single-phase or three phase units, depending on voltage, power and transportation considerations. Voltage variation is realised through the application of on-load tap changers.
