Geared Slotter Machine

All geared slotting machine, are suitable for machining flat or circular surface and keyway cutting. These slotting machines are very simple to handle but of robust built and ensure maximum safety. They are made of high quality grade material of close-grained cast iron with requisite hardness used. All castings are properly seasoned to maintain the accuracy to long life. Gears run very smooth in the gearboxes. These are made from special steel and cut on gear Shaping, Hobbing machines and all gears are hardened and lapped finished. Shafts of the gearboxes are made out of steel ground finished and are mounted on ball and taper roller bearings. Quick return motion is provided to the rams. Length of stroke can be varied between 1/4" to the maximum. Position of the rams can be adjusted vertically to -the required position. Three different speeds of ram strokes are arranged by a single lever control system. All the traverses; of the table, viz, longitudinal cross of rotary table can be operated by hand. Rotary table fitted with indexing plate is graduated in degrees on its periphery for coarse setting.
