Extended Reach Right Angle Attachment

Motor frames, shells, machine bodies etc involve critical right angle machining at long distance from the machine spindle, which the in-built cross traverse mechanism in the machine cannot reach. Extended Reach Right Angle Attachment is specially designed to provide the right angle machining capabilities at a distance from the machine spindle. Length of the long reach from the machine spindle to the attachment spindle is tailor made up to approximately 1.5 meters. The Extended Reach Right Angle Attachment generally consists of a single piece CI/steel-cast body, a pair of spiral bevel gears, a spindle and a shaft. The shaft is rigidly supported by suitable bearing arrangement in the housing. At its front end, a spiral bevel gear is mounted, which, in-turn will drive another spiral bevel gear, mounted on the back of the spindle. A pair of deep groove ball bearing in the flange side and another matched pair of angular contact bearings at the spindle side will support the main drive shaft inside the housing. The spindle taper can be ISO / METRIC / MT / BT.
