Test equipment function
The equipment meets the standard requirement of ANSI/BHMA A156.3-2020, EN1125, and EN179 to perform durability, operational, and strength tests. It is suitable for panic exit devices. The operating force (release force) can be monitored during the cycle test, and the specific cycle number and release force limit can be set on the HMI.
The test door can be closed by a door closer or pulled to close by an actuator. It is applicable for Grade 1 to Grade 3 and can be set to different test methods as described in the standards.

Inside cycles tests

Apply a net 20 to 22 lbf load on the latch.

Push on the actuating bar to open the door.

Release actuating bar and close the door by door closer or by pulling the actuating bar.

Following a dwell period in the latched position, cycling shall continue for set cycles.

If the door canA A A AcA A A A A A A A t be opened or closed properly, the system will stop the test automatically.
