Specifications:

• The primary winding is made of a single coil, layer wound with requisite insulation of high quality paper. The ends of the paper, sufficiently extended beyond the winding length, are folded-up to form full insulation to withstand the rated test voltage. The line end is brought out through a metalic pipe which is also fully insulated with laminated paper.

• The outer side of the coil is wrapped with aluminium foil and earthed. The line lead is properly graded to allow equal distribution of stresses between the steps.

• The complete core and coil assembly with line lead is fully dried and filled with fillered and degasified oil under high vacuum.

• As in the case of Current Transformers the top chamber is hermetically sealed and sufficient space is provided to allow for volume expansion of oil. Voltage Transformers upto 220KV class have been successfully built and we are fully geared to undertake manufacture and supply in large quantities.

• Development of Capacitor Voltage Transformers is also in the process and the unit will be able to manufacture and supply Capacitor Voltage Transformers upto 400KV very shortly
