Our Distribution Transformers are available with following features :
CORE: Core is made from superior quality of cold. Rolled Grain Oriented laminations for low core loss. Further reduction in core loss is obtained by using Mitred joints,Smaller frame sizes and higher flux densities are adopted to decrease the mean diameter and length of windings. Thus copper losses also reduced.

WINDING: High conductivity, annealed electrolytic Copper conductors with manila paper or enamel Covering are used. Low current coils are cross-over Type and high current coils are either spiral or disc Or EINLEITER type. Conductor of EINLEITER coils requires no insulating covering i.e. It is bare. Chances Of inter-turn or interlayer failure of this type of coil are Extremely remote as thick and rigidly held specers are used. TANK: Tanks are of robust construction Electrically Resistance Welded. M.S. tubes are used for efficeint cooling. Round tubesm for smaller ratings & elleiptical tubes or pressed radiator for larger ratings are used. Tubes are welded wither in HARFEN or HANKEL fashion.Tanks & Tubes are tested for leakages by subjecting them to a pressure of not less then 0.6 kg per square centimeter.
