(For Prevention of virus attacks in Chilly crop.)

Young plants of Chilly are highly susceptible to viral attacks. Virus such as CMV,WMV,MMV etc. attack during first 35 to 40 days and the virulent bodies mature during latent period before showing its symptoms, Upward Leaf Curling OR Dark green streeks on stems and branches.

To avoid virus entry in plant it is necessary to take preventive sprays starting 8^th day from plantation, to be repeated every 8th day during first 60 days. This will help avoid the entry of virus in plant bodies, and therefore, protects the plants from viral infection.

The virus type is classified as 'Potyvirus' is treated in such a way that, virulent bodies are unable to Mutate. Virulent bodies therefore, succumb to active ingredients.

Dosage:

.Preventive: After transplantation, spray by foliar application @ 2ml/lit water on 8^th day to be repeated every 8^th day during 60 days of plantation. .

.Time of application: Early morning hours OR Before the Sun-set.

Vector control: It is necessary to control White fly infestation to avoid the spread of disease.
