(For prevention of Virus attack on Bottle Gourd, Ridge Gourd crops.)

Virus attack on young Bottle gourd and Ridge Gourd plants is a most common threat.

Plants suffer from - Begomovirus infection.. The Virus enters the plant body when they are young. It is therefore, necessary to take preventive sprays from 8^th day after plantation in the field. Sprays should be repeated every 8^th day to avoid infection.

Dosage:

Preventive: After transplantation, Spray by foliar application @ 2ml/lit water on 8^th day. Apply every 8^th day till 60days from plantation.

Time of application: Early morning hours OR two hours before the sunset.

Vector Control:Use ANTHRIP for control of White flies and Thrips to avoid spread of the disease by vector movement.
