Method of Production : Benzoin Sumatra is reconstituted product from Benzoin Siam Resinoid produced from Styrax benzoin / Styrax benzoides gum resin by special process.
Color and Appearance : Brownish thick liquid
Odor : Balsamic sweet, styrax like and vanillic
Odour Strength : Strong and tenacious
Application : Used in perfumes of the more harsh-balsamic, sharp floral type. Due to its low cost and readily available raw material, extensively used as a replacement for Benzoin Siam which is far more expensive. Will give body & sweetness to almost any Composition Gives Fixation but at the same time is odour depressing.
Blends well with : Almost Anything Nitromusks, Patchouli, Vetiver, Sandalwood Etc Etc...
