3/4 Core Laying Machine

Rigid Sun and planetary type core laying up machine having sector correction of sector shaped cores and back twist Release arrangement
of circular cores.

Purpose : Assembly of 3, 3 A and 4 PVC/XLPE Insulated Aluminum copper conductor sector shaped cores and Assembly of 4
Bobbins size : 1250 /1400 / 1600 /1800 mm.

a Forth cradle assembly
The position of the fourth bobbins will be positioned at the back of the carriage.

a Cage
The cage of the machine will be sloping flyer type, with two steel fabricated discs supporting between them 3 nos. of bobbins of 1200 / 1400 / 1600 / 1800 mm dia. The cage of the machine carried on a hollow shaft, supported with under rollers on both ends.

a Sector Correction
For sector correction each cradle will be provided with A.C. induction geared motor.

a Bobbins holding
The bobbins are placed between hardened forged steel pintles.

a Brake
Pneumatically operated, electrically actuated fixed on the main section of the cage.

a Die box
2 Nos Die Holder blocks to hold firmly closing dies sliding type operated.

a Lapping head
One high speed lapping head for two tapes Tangential design.

a Haul off catter pillar
The laid up cable Haul off through a twin grip catter pillar unit with suitable track length 1000/ 1500/ 2000 / 2500 mm pneumatically operated.

a Measuring unit
Heavy duty mechanical length measuring unit with Electronic counter.
