TOPIC : Cancelling an order - please advice

Please, could you help me on this: I've made an order for certain goods. I've already paid for 50 percent of the cost, but as I'm facing some problems in financing, I can't afford to pay my last 50% to supplier. I've asked supplier to cancel my order, they can fine me and charge me and send me back the rest of money, but they have refused.

Then I asked them to send me the item only according to the first 50% which I've paid they still refused me. They say I have only one solution which is to pay the last 50% then they can send the items. What do you think I should do? Can anyone please help me? Looking forward to hear from your guys.
