TOPIC : Loan against export order?
Posted on 11 October 2008 at 20:41:00

I am from Chennai, India and new to exports. There is an foreign inquiry for cardamom (spices). He wants to make payment after shipment. My supplier is asking immediate payment. Where can I apply for loan? I don't have property to get loan against it. Can any bank or any other financial institute help me? Can I get loan against export order?

Of course. As per my knowledge the Indian government supports exporters on this. There are so many government institutions which provide loan for export. They are pre-shipment loans and post-shipment loans. You must contact ECGC councils for further details.
