TOPIC : Payment Issue

I would like to know the payment issue, like as below. There was a deal of Rs.3 lakhs, and advance given to them Rs. 1.75 lakhs, the party tells that they will not supply material to buyer. 1.75 lakhs given through check. Buyer also given P.O to the party. What is the solution for settlement.

Did you have a contract with the supplier at the time of giving the P.O and advance?
If the supplier is not fulling the terms of the contract you can surely file a case against him but before you do that try to talk and reason out with the supplier
