Its working principle involve sensing of level of media vide vibration technique. The switch consists of a pair of stainless steel tuning forks which upholds vibration creating & sensing element inside it. The electronic circuitry inside switch housing gives an impulse to these vibration sensors causing them to vibrate on a particular resonance frequency which is equal to the resonance frequency of tuning forks. This vibrating frequency causes tuning forks to vibrate free inside the tank when forks are not covered with any media.
