UHP Graphite Electrode, also known as ultra-high power graphite electrodes, are one of many graphite electrodes. Graphitization refers to a high-temperature heat treatment process in which a carbon product is heated to a temperature of 2300 degrees Celsius or more in a protective medium in a high-temperature electric furnace to convert an amorphous layered structure carbon into a three-dimensional ordered graphite crystal structure. The purpose of graphitization is to improve the electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, impurities of the carbon material, improve the purity of the carbon material, and also make the carbon material lubricous and abrasion resistant.
