TSCR VFD+ screw compressor series is developed solely focusing on saving energy and reducing the users energy bill Rather than just adding a frequency converter, we integrate the whole compressor around the VFD drive. RPM of the electric motor is controlled according to the demand of compressed air of the user. During low demand, the compressor runs at a low speed, thus drawing less power. The motor runs at full speed only during peak demand and so it directly reduces the energy bill. The benefits of this are a low starting current, a total absence of peaks, and a high power factor. A total energy saving of 20-30 % is achieved during partial load conditions.
The reduction in energy cost in a TSCR VFD+ series compressor will even surpass the initial investment on a screw compressor. In other words, the savings realized by the VFD+ can pay for the entire machine!
