Three Roll Mill is suitable for fine milling and dispersing of Inks, Pigments, Paints, Carbon Black, Cocoa, PVC compounds and other similar materials.Used for grinding & dispersing of inks, paints, chocolates carbon pastes, polymers, rubber, coatings etc. The machine consists of three rollers operating at different speeds. The material is fed between the fist two rolls and is discharged from the final roll by a scrapper blade. The paste passing between the rolls is subjected to high stress & frictional forces resulting in the breaking up & separation of the particle to produce a finely dispersed film. The gap adjustment between the rolls can be done manually or hydraulically. Rollers are independently cooled by a water circulating facility. Rolls are available in S. S. 304 or Chilled Cast Iron construction.;The mill comprises of finely ground Hollow Chilled Cast Iron rolls or SS 304 Rolls as may be required mounted on C.I. machined bearing blocks which are provided with sealed bearings. The Rolls rotate in opposite directions at different speeds and are provided with independent water cooling arrangement. Gun Metal checks are fitted between center and feed roll to prevent splashing of material during operation. A discharge Hopper with doctor blade is provided for scraping material from the take-off Roll. The gap between Rolls is adjustable by means of mechanically operated hand wheels provided in front of feed and discharge Roll. The bearings are continuously lubricated by oil cups provided on top of each bearing block. A sturdy C.I. and steel fabricated frame is provided for mounting the mill on the foundation. The drive consists of a 3 Ph, TEFC 415 V electric motor complete with set of helical gear train, ~V~ belts, pulleys, belt guard and base frame.
